Catoosa County may play against neighboring recreational agencies/organizations in some age groups depending on registration numbers.
Travel may be required.

Practices can fall on any day of the week. Depending on the age group, the coach will determine those days.

We believe that youth sports provide players with many benefits. One of the many benefits to youth sports is socialization and learning to be coachable. This is why we do not accept or facilitate PLAYER/COACH/TEAM requests. We hope to encourage players to continue to make new friends and get the opportunity to learn from new coaches.

Players that want to play up an age division should contact the office. This registration software will not allow it, but the office can manually move your player into the correct division.

*** IF YOU WANT TO COACH AND DID A BACKGROUND CHECK FOR THE PREVIOUS SEASON, YOU DO NOT NEED TO COMPLETE ANOTHER ONE. JUST MARK YES YOU WOULD LIKE TO COACH. BACKGROUND CHECKS ARE GOOD FOR 1 YEAR.***

BASEBALL & T-Ball FAQ’S

**Information for 2025 Fall Season**

  • Weather permitting, there will be player evaluations on March 3rd.

T-Ball will not take part in the evaluations. Emails will be sent to parents closer to this date to inform you of when your player’s evaluation will be. During this evaluation, players should be prepared to participate in various baseball drills. Player attendance at evaluations is highly encouraged to properly draft and roster as evenly matched teams as possible. Players that do not attend will be randomly assigned to a team by the recreation department.

  • You should hear from a coach by the week of march 10th.

  • Weather permitting, practices can begin as soon as March 10th.

Practices are dependent on the coach’s availability and their preference.

  • For the upcoming Spring season, the start of the season is March 22nd.

  • The registration fee will cover a jersey and a hat. Players will need to buy pants, a belt and socks.

Other items players should purchase: Cleats, glove, helmet, bat.

Academy Sports + Outdoors and Dicks’ Sporting Goods are sponsors of CCPRD. They have provided our participants with a discount coupon to use. That coupon code will be sent out prior to the start of the season.

  • Jack Mattox Park, Boynton Park and Poplar Springs. Weather permitting.

Practice days and times are up to the head coach.

  • Game days can vary any day except Wednesday and Sundays. Game days will be determined at the end of registration, once CCPRD is able to project the number of teams per division.
